[Birth stone] Sapphire ( September )
King Solomon was the king of Israel in the 9th century BCE. The seal ring he possessed was set with a sapphire.
With this ring, Solomon was said to seal away evil spirits and communicate with animals, birds, and even spirits. The seal appears not only in Jewish mysticism (Kabbalah) but also in Islamic mythology and Western grimoires, showing just how widely the legend spread. Even today, it often appears in children’s literature and fantasy works—so much so that there are hardly any people unfamiliar with the name Solomon. Somehow, the word “Solomon” itself carries an almost magically familiar resonance.
Thanks to this, sapphire came to be recognized as a gemstone with exceptionally strong spiritual power.
In this bracelet design, to enhance the spiritual qualities of sapphire, beads with the blended colors of Que Sera Stone are included, along with muscovite to add a mysterious touch, onyx for protection, and kunzite—which pairs beautifully with sapphire—to brighten the whole piece.
