[Birth stone] Moonstone ( June )
A bracelet inspired by Bōshu, the season marked by the sowing of grain, adorned with moonstone.
Bōshu is one of Japan’s 24 seasonal divisions (nijūshi sekki), and it refers to the time when farmers begin sowing grains such as rice and barley—grains with bristle-like tips. In today’s calendar, it falls around June 6.
It is the season of beginnings—a time to sow seeds, nurture them with care, and continue to devote attention and love for the harvest to come in autumn. ”Makura no Sōshi” captures the mood of this season with the following lines:
I love how green the grass grows.
Rain falling is beautiful too.
And in the early evening—
the way the sky changes,
the moment the moon comes up—
all of it, just lovely.
In this bracelet, tanzanite and rutilated quartz represent the gentle rain; orange-pink moonstone captures the color of the evening sky; and white moonstone evokes the luminous moon.
To move forward, step by step, toward the fruit of some future season.

The following explanations are given in the order of first appearance, clockwise from the wooden bead that serves as the base point. Beads that appear in more than one place are concentrated in the position of the first one.
