Omamori are sold at various places, including shrines and temples, and are held by people who entrust their wishes to them. Some people believe that when a charm is broken or lost, it is a sign that a wish will come true or that bad luck will be avoided.

Aquamarine has long been regarded as a stone blessed by the sea, and in medieval Europe, it was worn as a talisman for safe voyages. It was even said that throwing an aquamarine into the sea during a storm could calm the wrath of the sea god.
Speaking of aquamarine, one of the most famous pieces is the enormous aquamarine necklace and earrings gifted to the British Queen by Brazil for her coronation in 1953. Later, a matching bracelet was also presented, and the Queen, delighted and excited, decided to have a tiara made to complete the set. She frequently wore the full ensemble, making it a well-known part of her jewelry collection. If you search for images, you might come across pictures of Her Majesty beaming with joy. The aquamarine beads we carry at Hiiragi may have a slightly(?) different vibe from Her Majesty’s masterpiece, but their milky sky-blue hue makes them a versatile favorite year-round. Paired with our newly arrived cream-colored beryl, they create a fresh and breezy look.
*Omamori bracelets are amulets unique to Yanaka and are made by always containing one wooden bead called a "Buddhist's wooden bead" carved by a Buddhist sculptor with a wish for the fulfillment of one's wishes. New bracelets arrive (restock) online every week.

The following explanations are given in the order of first appearance, clockwise from the wooden bead that serves as the base point. Beads that appear in more than one place are concentrated in the position of the first one.
Buddhist wooden beads
